We had a lot of fun at AWSome day in Belgrade last week; there were a lot of great talks and people from the community. The most interesting talk was about serverless computing.
AWSome Day in Belgrade was organized by Fast Lane (AWS Training partner) and held in Metropol Palace in Belgrade on the 24th of September.
The conference was aimed at existing AWS users who want to know more about the latest innovations from AWS and the experts in the field of cloud computing who want to learn about AWS services.
The most interesting talk was about serverless computing and architecture from Nemanja Kostic (AWS Solutions Architect). Nemanja talked about the benefits of serverless computing, such as greater scalability, improved flexibility, and quicker release times, all at a reduced cost. Serverless architecture enables developers to focus on the code instead of needing to worry about purchasing, provisioning, and managing backend servers.
The talk from Alen Krmelj (Fast Lane) was also very interesting. Alen is an experienced DevOps Engineer; he talked about the real-world challenges of migration to AWS and how to approach it to ensure efficient migration and reliable services.
